Extended: Ethnographic Museum

Coming Soon

For those who have a bit more time and curiosity — we extend the walking tour with a visit to the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, one of Europe's oldest, set in a pine forest by Lake Jugla.

It's a beautiful way to understand how Latvians have lived for centuries — the farmsteads, the traditions, the craftsmanship. A perfect half-day for families too. The museum grounds are extensive and peaceful, and I know the best corners to explore.
